Introduction

The electromagnetic vibrating feeder utilizes an electromagnetic exciter to drive the trough to vibrate, uniformly conveying lump, granular, or powdered materials to receiving equipment. It is an automated feeding device characterized by the absence of rotating parts, no need for lubrication, low power consumption, and steplessly adjustable feed rates.

Components

The electromagnetic vibrating feeder is primarily composed of a trough, an electromagnetic exciter, and shock absorbers or suspension devices.

Usage

Electromagnetic vibrating feeders are used to provide upstream feeding for equipment such as belt conveyors, bucket elevators, screening machinery, pulverizers, crushers, and grinding mills. They are widely utilized across industries—including mining, metallurgy, coal, construction materials, light industry, chemicals, electric power, machinery, and grain processing—to deliver lump, granular, and powdered materials from storage bins or hoppers into receiving devices in a uniform, continuous, or metered manner.

Work principle 

The working principle of the electromagnetic vibrating feeder involves using an electromagnetic exciter to drive the trough to undergo reciprocating vibration at a specific inclination angle, thereby causing the material to move along the trough.

Vibrating Feeder features

（1）This series of electromagnetic vibrating feeders features compact size, light weight, simple structure, and ease of installation; they have no rotating parts, require no lubrication, are easy to maintain, and offer low operating costs.

(2) During the feeding process, the material in the feed trough is continuously tossed upward and moves forward in a series of leaps along a parabolic trajectory; consequently, wear on the feed trough is minimal.

(3) This series of electric vibrating feeders is not suitable for applications requiring explosion-proof capabilities.
