Pulverized coal is a vital energy source in industrial production, serving as a fundamental fuel across sectors such as metallurgy, chemicals, cement manufacturing, power generation, heating, and boiler operations; it is widely utilized and is increasingly evolving toward greater refinement.

Vertical grinding roller mills integrate drying and pulverizing processes, enabling simultaneous grinding and drying; in the field of pulverized coal processing, they are also known as medium-speed coal mills or vertical coal mills.

Capacity: 5-100t/h

Vertical coal mill process flow: After large lumps of raw coal are crushed and screened, the material is transported—via a steep-angle belt conveyor or a bucket elevator (with an iron remover installed above the belt conveyor for preliminary iron removal)—into a buffer hopper. A rod gate and a sealed, metering belt coal feeder are installed beneath the buffer hopper, awaiting the startup of the main coal pulverizing system.

Hot air generated by the hot blast stove is drawn by the system fan into the vertical coal mill, where it thoroughly mixes with the coal powder to dry out excess moisture and ensure grinding efficiency.

Material ground by the main unit is pneumatically conveyed to the separator for classification; coarse coal powder that fails to meet fineness requirements falls back onto the grinding table for further grinding, while coal powder meeting the specifications is carried by the airflow into the explosion-proof pulse-jet bag filter to be collected as the finished product.

The pulverized coal system is equipped with explosion-proof valves and an online CO-O2 analysis system; when processing coal with high volatility, safety measures such as nitrogen inerting and automatic carbon dioxide fire suppression systems can be implemented.
